About Dog Tired

My name is Nicki Clay and I live in Tollerton.

Following a lengthy career in hospitality management & training, I decided to make my love for animals into a profession. I run Dog Tired with the help of my small team of experienced pet sitters. I have owned and loved many animals in my life including: dogs, budgies, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, mice, gerbils and fish. I currently own Florrie the Westie.

Spending time outdoors in the fresh air, with a group of dogs playing, is my idea of heaven!

• NARPS member (National Associates of Registered Pet Sitters)
• NARPS Dog Walking & Pet Sitting Business accreditation
• DBS clearance (all pet sitters have DBS clearance)
• Licensed with Hambleton District Council (home boarding)
• Licensed with City of York Council (dog home boarding)
• Public Liability Insurance with PBI Direct (up to £3,000,000)
• Employer's Liability Insurance with PBI Direct
• Loss of client keys insurance (up to £2,000)
• All employees have completed a canine first aid course and canine psychology course.
